it was such a cool place. in this part of colombia i did not see or hear about any indigenous tribes. In Mongui I tried to ask about this, and was given a very stern, do not ask about this, by a woman tour guide. I think in that part of Colombia it is now non existent, and not to be discussed. I found this strange, but did not push. I asked a few people and I got pretty much the same response.
Yikes!! Sadly, Indigenous tribes throughout the world have been robbed and murdered and then these dirty deeds done damn cheap are kept as state secrets! This is why intergenerational traumas are so devastating!
All hostels should have doggos! It's too bad there isn't more lodging in the more off the beaten path places, but I guess this happens everywhere too.
I think so too! I think its easier to find a place to stay off line, just walking around and they just arent online!
